As an alumni of this college and one who worked hard along with a number of others in the mid -nineties to restore the glory of Ramjas through extra-curricular activities , this is absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking for me and many more..
If indeed the allegations of harassment are true, action must be taken.
At the same time we all must display utmost RESTRAINT. To go out in the world, to approach the biased and INSENSITIVE PRESS of this country and shouting from the roof tops about the heinous act in our college solves no purpose.. It only and only brings bad name to this lovely college.
We must try and settle the matter without much noise.. not to mention that the culprit, who happens to be a senior teacher, ought to be suitably punished.
All of us, students and authorities alike, need to be more alert and aware..to avoid such incidents in future!
